The Mythical Cycle was the first of the cycles and was followed by the Fionn Cycle and the Ulster Cycle. The epic tales of the Ulster Cycle are an intriguing look into the early beliefs and cultural norms of the Celts in Ireland. They were written during a time of great change and the incorporation of old ideas with a testing of the new is evident in many of the stories. This 6 page paper examines the characters, myths and legends that were included in the tales of the Ulster Cycle. Bibliography lists 10 sources.
